In fact, don't even talk to companies that required a contract. - Only consider UL-approved monitoring equipment stations. - Be prepared to pay for your security system and don't consider renting or leasing the equipment. - Only consider monthly monitoring fees of $12 to no more than $20. There is simply no need to pay any more than $20 per month. - Include integrated smoke and fire into the system. - When you contact companies for price quotes, be prepared with the number of doors and windows in your home that are vulnerable. - Remember!
